What is Tantric Sex?

What Is Tantra?

How Is Tantric Sex Unique?
In the West, we sometimes view sex as a source of recreation rather than a means of transformation. The goal may be to reach orgasm rather than to pleasure our lover or to connect with him or her more fully.

Todays Work Out is Dedicated to Fat Boy

This total-body circuit-training routine from Joe Dowdell, co-owner of Peak Performance NYC is a little more intense than the previous routines I have posted. But, as the name implies, it can help you quickly tone your entire body effectively. Do each exercise for about one minute and complete the circuit two or three times. That’s an 18-minute work out!

Squat (15 to 20 reps)
Lunge (15 reps per side)
Push-up (10 to 15 reps)
Bridge (15 to 20 reps)
Plank pose (hold 30 to 60 seconds)

August 26, Celebrating a Woman’s Right to Vote

This will not be a history lesson. Just a little reminder that The Nineteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which granted full voting rights to women across the United States of America, was adopted on August 26, 1920.

Don’t forget that this is one of the most important events in the history of the US,  because it  has allowed women to take responsibility  and make decisions  that affect us directly, such as the right to take control of our sexuality.

THE OFFICE WORKOUT

I found the following advice in a British publication. I bet it works here too…

“Thousands of people in the UK have desk-based jobs where a trip to the canteen is the most exercise they get. Now in a new set of guidelines the Government is urging the country’s sedentary workforce to get fit”

Recommendations include standing up to make phone calls, using stairs instead of a lift and walking to a colleague’s desk to discuss work matters rather than sending an email.

Personal trainer Kevin Dobson believes it is possible to tone up without leaving your chair. His desk-based workout doesn’t involve any special kit or clever gadgets. In fact no one will even know you are doing the exercises.

Your brain needs fuel to keep it focused but it’s best to avoid coffee and sweet treats. Instead Kevin recommends low GI fruit snacks such as berries or apples.

The key to a honed office worker physique is doing plenty of isometric contractions

Easy exercises to try at work

Do each exercise 10 times and repeat the sequence three times every day.

The buttock clench

With both feet flat on the floor contract your buttocks, hold for 10 seconds then release.

The hamstring stretcher

With feet flat on the floor contract your hamstrings (the muscle at the back of each thigh). Hold for 10 seconds then release.

Stretch both legs out and contract the quad muscles down the front of the thighs for 10 seconds then release. When you clench, your knee should sink slightly as the legs straighten.

The calf lengthener

Stretch out both legs. Point your toes like a ballet dancer. Slowly move the feet back up until your toes are pointing at the ceiling.

The shoulder stretch

Sit up straight in your chair, relax your neck and shoulders then squeeze your shoulder blades together and hold for 10 seconds.

The chest stretch

Sit up tall, keeping both arms down at the side with palms facing your thighs. Keeping shoulders relaxed, rotate your wrists anti-clockwise so your palms are facing outwards.

The tummy buster

Sit up tall and pull your tummy button in towards your spine. Hold for 10 seconds. Women should contract the pelvic floor muscles at the same time.
